Retractable Skel

The retractable skel concept was designed by Krueger Transport Equipment in the mid 90s, and today it has become an industry standard Australia wide.

John Krueger witnessed first-hand the difficulty and safety issues industry faced as demand increased by freight forwarders to load and unload shipping containers flush with loading docks. Krueger embarked on designing a trailer that carried maximum payload when suspension was extended for on-road use that could slide suspension under the trailer chassis to achieve flush loading/unloading of containers.
